How would we know an AI really predicted it?

Many papers claim AI agents can simulate people. Most of those tests run after the answer is already known, so prediction is hard to tell apart from hindsight. Social Simulation Arena has agents forecast real social outcomes before the results are out, then scores them against what happened, on a public live leaderboard. A forecast made in advance is the least we should ask before trusting a simulation.
